About Microphonemeister

Started music at a young age doing rap with friends in the neighborhood. Growing up in Cali influenced me with rap music until my cousin took me to a pearljam concert and fell in love with grunge, hard rock and rap metal. In college, I used to be a drummer until they said I should sing and went on to learn other genres of music. In 2005 when I first came to Dubai for my cousin's wedding, I started to do acoustic solo acts for hotels while looking for a job and with the help of konektados Abu Dhabi, I started to create curious Juan and became a house band for an underground group makinaworks production in dubai, played also under sessions dxb, Juan music community, to name a few. My band went on to winning battle of the bands Dubai and Abu Dhabi and since we are all expats and a band member might want to go home, we have to find other artist to fill in. Until covid came and most of my bandmates went home, bands that I've created like Aswang de Makina, Bangad de Quattro and collaborated with other artists and band in the underground scene. Now, I am in a band named Sampalataia as featured vocalist which plays rock worship songs inspiring people and relating our personal experiences in creating songs for everyone to enjoy.
